On May 28th, 2002 at approximately 6:00 a.m., William Heredia’s body was discovered next to railroad tracks near Cogswell Road, in El Monte.  The injuries to Mr. Heredia indicate he had been assaulted and were not caused by being struck a passing train.  According to family and friends, Mr. Heredia used a bicycle for transportation. The bicycle, described as a black colored mountain bike with the word “Scorpio” written on the frame, is missing.  Mr. Heredia is the victim of Robbery and Murder.
