On May 28th, 2002 at approximately 6:00 a.m., William Heredia’s body was discovered next to the railroad tracks near Cogswell Road, in El Monte. The injuries to Mr. Heredia indicated he had been assaulted and was not caused by being struck by a passing train. According to family and friends, Mr. Heredia used a bicycle for transportation. The bicycle, described as a black colored mountain bike with the word “Scorpio” written on the frame is missing. Mr. Heredia is the victim of Robbery and Murder.
