In the late evening / early morning hours of October 21st, 1991, victims Garcia and Tellez, along with two friends, became involved in a fight with several other male subjects in front of the apartment complex at 10060 Valley Bl., El Monte.  During the course of the fight both victims were stabbed and subsequently died from their wounds.

The unidentified suspects immediately fled the area, possibly fleeing the country to avoid arrest and prosecution.  The primary suspects were described as;

Suspect #1:  Male / Hispanic, 20 years old, 5’-06”, 140 lbs., thin build, shoulder length wavy dark brown hair.

Suspect #:     Male / Hispanic, 26 years old, 5’-07”, 170 lbs., heavy build, dark brown hair combed back.
